A Walk Down January Lane.

It has been a very smooth month, I'd say.

Being a 19-year-old January kid, I shall make this post a memorable one.
After all, being 19 is only once in a lifetime.

Firstly, there was the night to celebrate the New Year, 2008. Pretty fireworks from PJ *laughs*

Then of course, college re-opened and everything was very different than before.

i.e Had long hours of break in between,

Met new people and etc.

Then, I celebrated my much anticipating 19th birthday.

which was on the 10th of January.
We had a 'joint' birthday celebration which was with Kent, Abbie, Myself and Kim.
Turns out pretty succesful although I had a few uphappy moments which happened on that day itself.

I swear, it almost killed me.

Total letdown but everything on that night build up!

Hallelujah!

Of course there was the beautiful rainbow lovers to celebrate with me as well.

Rainbow Lovers *hearts*

Thx to everyone who made my 19th.
I LOVE YOU PEOPLE VERY MUCH, you know that.

Then comes HMC Leadership Camp @ Trolak, Perak with the March Intake Girls and May Intake Guys.

Here is prove!

SO, what happens being far away from home without mommy and daddy?

THE FUN KICKS IN!

The Legend.

It was Sammie's birthday celebration yesterday.

Venue of the place was at The Legend Hotel, KL.
Obviously, you need not know the time because we were pretty late.

Note: Not FASHIONABLY LATE ;p

Juan and Kah Fei was my chauffeur for the night.
Thx shoshosooo much guys!

After Juan picked me up, we headed to Bangsar to get Kah Fei which apparently was studying at the library and Juan needed to use the loo pretty badly so we stopped at Lucky Garden (lol.i dont even know wheres that place) and waited for Kah Fei and finally, we started our journey to KL.

Had trouble looking for the frickin' place and nearly got lost.
So called KL people, yes? ;p
Birthday girl and I.

It is by far the best start to kick of 2008.
Good food, really.

By the way, it was all Japanese.
Japanese foooooood which means sushisss and MORE sushis!

Me no likeeeey Sushi'SSS!

So, I abandoned the sushi's section and went for the other Japanese dishes.

I stuffed myself with lots of good food.
Sushis was exceptional for me.

I can't take that for nuts.
You'll probably see me puking my lungs out after those sushis!

We were taking plates and plates of food.

Not bothering who was looking and who was there.
Haha :D
For those who are Japanese food lovers, you guys should have seen the amount of food there.
Japanese buffet style!

The uber beautiful sight from our restaurant.
KL BABY !

Fantabulous!

As expected, less HELP-ies but lots of Sammie's high school mates.
Met one of my long lost buddy as well.

Kim, Ben & Riz.
Singing the birthday song.
Kah fei, this proves my phone is worth buying, yes?
Stop provoking my handphone anymore.

I promise, we'll be bestfriends once you get your hands on your brand new phone okay.

heehee :p The party crowd.

Birthday girl with her camera.
The deco's was amazing.
Totally adore the interier.

Whole place was filled with balloons.
And as much as you don't know, I dislike ballons!

They freak me out.
lol ;p

I'm a kiddo, told ya ;)

If you notice in the below pic, you can see the KL towers!

Aww, happy people at the party.
Kai Ning & Kim @ The Legend Hotel, KL.

Juju is always fidgeting in pictures.
Kim and Steph ( i think thats her name )
Kim's long lost friend.

No prizes for guessing where we took the above pic.
Mandatory shot, I reckon.
Around 10-ish, comes the birthday cake.
Everyone singing at the top of their lungs and one even played his guitar for Sammie.

So much for me tip toe-ing to catch a glimpse of the birthday cake but failed -____-

Being short is not-so-nice.
: /

Before that was table hopping to the Brotherhood's table.
Moi. Rach. Hock Wee & Rick.
Doug, Kai Ning, Moi, Kim & Tze Feng at the other side of the table.
Happy 18th Birthday Sammieee :D

It's great knowing you and gotten closer to you during Leadership Camp!

Keep up the WooohooO and WooowieeeE spirit.

Hope you had a great 18th.

Bangsar Bliss.

I was shopping at Bangsar today.

Got myself a pretty top which was quite affordable.

50 Ringgit for a top at Bangsar is like... O.O

Pretty worth it, I reckon.

Since my body is filled with red bites from Trolak camp and it's not recovering a tiny bit so I decided to go with a nothing-too-fancy top and a pair of pants to kick it all off for tonight's celebration.

Needless to say, I'm a very happy girl :D
Haven't been shopping for two whole weeks, not even for CNY clothes.

oh boy.

Lazy Thaipusam.

Apparently, my relatives are down from London.

Its pretty much their tradition by visiting KL once every year.

Initially, the plan was to watch how the Hindu's have their festive season but due to some reason, the plan was off and we stayed over at their house. Being a couch potato, watching dramas on Thaipusam ;p

Even Cookie was being a slow poo.
No barks, no jumps.

Say Hello to Cookie.
No, not my dog by the way.
Spent the day catching up with relatives, watching dramas, munching on London food and energetic laughters.

Drama Rama.

We sorta was in the film studio today.

I have no idea why they were having this shoot in college but I ended up in part of the movie clip or whatever you call it.

We had to act as if we're in Communication class today.
I almost burst out laughing.

I'm not good at acting at all especially with the huge cameras all over the place.Hannah Tan was the guest star there.

On a lighter note,
My muscles are recovering bit by bit.

Doesn't hurt as much as yesterday but my bruises and red bites are still as itchy as everrrr.
Anyways, I miss Trolak like mad.

It was PURE FUN :D
.. and very much worth it.

WoohOOO and Wooowwwieee Group B Trolak!

lol XD

Aftermath of Camp.

Not a very good sign.
Daddy said it must be the bed bugs but I disagree because this happened even before I went to bed on the first day of camp.

I reckon it must be the forest bugs.

Muscles hurts very badly.
I could hardly carry my heavy textbooks today so I decided to put it all in a red bag which most of the people thinks that I was Santa Claus, giving out presents.
My Camping Partner, Boey : )

Camp Dilemma.

Today, I made an extremely decision that the next time I ever enter a forest, I would have to apply plenty of smelly-insect gell and put on a long sleeved shirt and a long proper tracks.

The mosquitoes likes me, you see.

The last time I went for a camp is two years back, for scouts camp.
I was always ready and all geared up for camps!

Not this time though.
.. because I haven't been camping for yearSSS and haven't been encountered with plenty of enormous leeches, haven't been suffering and haven't been doing push-ups or jungle hiking in Templers Park EVER SINCE FOREVER!

BUT,

This camp proved me WRONG.
I was SOSOSOSOSOSOOOO WRONG about my perception towards camping.

God, I just miss camping soooo much!

Anyways,

The Leadership Camp was held at Trolak Camp, Perak.
We were separated into 2 groups.

.. and lucky ones were of course in Group B ;p

Well, I really thought that the activities are extremely challenging!

It was one helluva good fun and experience.

woohhhh :D

First night itself, we were sent to the forest.
It was called a SOLO DROP and SOLO WALK.

Obviously, I prayed. I'm pretty sure everyone prayed before going in.
I prayed before I went in, prayed during the walk in the PITCH BLACK FOREST and prayed when I was stranded and left alone in the spot!

hahah :D

All I could see when I was left alone in the pitching dark forest was my own figure and trees.

Some of them saw plenty of fireflies.

Trolak Camp January with the March and May Intake Friends '08.

HELL YEAAAAH! Pretty boy Chris Adam.

Too bad he wasn't in my group.

Speaking of which, we coudn't even see the rest of the friends because activites were done in groups.

My very own group, group B!
Pretty awesome group, I must say.
CheerS for Group B!

Wanted to capture the moments during all the activites but cameras were a burden if we were to carry it into the forest.

GroupB girls.
Our room.

The room crashes and that was pretty obvious how we slept together.
hee : )

We were EVEN separated with our room mates but all of us coudn't care less.

Friends.

That's Zen, btw!

I really enjoyed myself throughout this camp.

I should really give my THANK YOUS now.

First of all should be the stupid mosquitoes.
I'm all biten up (sounds wrong but sod it!)

Happy, much? Secondly, the bunch March girls and May/March guys were great.
I've met a few new people and their funny people okaaaay.

No joke!

They crack me up.
lol XD

CRAVE, which is my very own group, they were GREAT people.

Overall, I had a good weekend and a good time at this Leadership Camp although I'm filled with red bites everywhere so you woudn't see me in sleeveless or anything revealing during the next few weeks in college.

See you guys tomorrow.

Hope ya'll don't have much bruises and mosquitoe bites as much as mine ;p
